Though her name isn't spoken often, the White Witch of The Chronicles of Narnia series does have a first name. Her name is Jadis, and this unique choice evokes something playful with a definition of "long ago," "once," and "yesteryear." If baby is bound to be an old soul, then the name Jadis comes ready to foster these past-loving notions.
