Kanara

Not a lot is known about the sunny name Kanara. Thought to be of Hebrew origin, Kanara is a girl’s name which may mean “little bird” or “canary.” Kanara is also a coastal region in eastern India, part of the Karnataka state. Canaries are beautiful little singers and yellow in color, the happiest of the hues. Perhaps baby Kanara will grow up to be as musically talented as the bright little songbird.
